What to Expect at the Palm Beach International Boat Show

On March 28th, 2019 the 34th Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show will begin and attract thousands of boat enthusiasts who are looking forward to the 2019 boating season. The event promises to deliver $1.2 billion in watercraft along with gear and accessories. This allows boaters to get an idea of what kind of vessels will be in the water for the upcoming season as well as featuring the innovation of the marine industry.

Let’s do a preview of the event itself and what an attendee can expect, what is likely to be on site and who is scheduled to be there.

 

Tenders, Boats, and Yachts Galore

Hundreds of boats are expected at this year’s event from the smallest tenders to the largest yachts, and everything in between. Boaters will be bewildered by the many vessels that they can jump on board to learn more about with qualified brokers and brand representatives. A small sample of some of the boats that are scheduled to appear is listed below.

  • Ocean Hunt 72 – This is a 76 ft yacht with a deep v-hull design drafting only 5.5 feet. The ocean hunt delivers comfort, space, and efficiency and is designed to make boaters swoon. The vessel is powered by twin Caterpillar four-stroke diesel engines with turbocharge aftercoolers. The vessel carries an unbelievable 1800 gallons of fuel.
  • Talaria 48 MKII – This yacht has an overall length of 52 ft and is powered by twin diesel Volvo engines. Inside there are three berths and two heads all dripping with the finest finishes. The vessel carries 700 gallons of fuel and reaches a top speed of 38mph.
  • Broward Motor Yacht – The 2006, 106-foot motor yacht will be featured by a broker at this year’s show. It is powered by C-30 Caterpillar engines and holds an incredible 9000 gallons of fuel. This vessel will accommodate eight people with a max speed of 22mph.

 

Attractions

Kids Fishing Clinic – A free fishing clinic will be presented on both Saturday and Sunday at the Amphitheater Field. This will be a hands-on opportunity for kids to learn the way of the rod.

Sports Fishing Seminars – The National Game and Fish Association will be giving sport fishing clinics in the Meyer Amphitheater Field which is free with admission.

Aqua Zone – This year’s AquaZone will feature paddleboard demonstrations, SUP yoga, kayaks, hovercraft, docking system demos, jet pack demos and much, much more.

 

The Culinary ExperienceMore than 100-food vendors will be on site to provide some of Florida’s best cuisine to event attendees. This will also include beverage and cocktail vendors who will be debuting some of their most popular brands.
