#1 Anti-Fouling Your Yacht’s Hull
There is a misconception out there that just because the hull of a boat is in the water, it can’t be seen. It can most certainly be seen and it can even more so on a dock with people no more than 5 inches away from the boat. Is your hull looking shiny and spotless? You might just need some sand blasting and Anti-Fouling to make it look almost new but get this done ASAP so your boat looks spiffy at FLIBS.
#2 Take Out Cash
There are so many wonderful vendors at FLIBS, you should definitely take out some cash to keep with you. While many do take cards, by allowing you to use your card the vendor pays a percentage to the company allowing them to charge your card. Help the vendors out at FLIBS by bringing your own cash.
#3 UBER Or LYFT To FLIBS 2018
Whether you’re taking your boat to FLIBS 2018 or not, you should still consider taking an Uber or Lyft to the event because there will be a lot of traffic and not to mention surging parking prices raising daily.
#4 Your Yacht’s Top Coat Needs To Be Better Than Good
Your whole yacht could look good but when was the last time you got top coat refinishing done? Remember that FLIBS 2018 is no regular small boat show, it’s the biggest in the world. Your top coat needs to be a whole lot better than good!
#5 Wear Sunglasses & A Hat
As you know in sunny Florida, there is quite some sun out all the time no matter what the weather channel tells us. Make sure you wear sunglasses and a hat to protect your head and eyes from over exposure of the sun.
